I wonder how time flies! Seems like yesterday we were celebrating new year and it has already been a month. I’m back with reviews and today I’ll review a lipstick.

My Take on Lakme 9 to 5 Crease-less Crème Lipstick Pink Affair:
Packaging: The packaging is gorgeous. Any girl would get wooed by the rose-gold tube that comes with an outer carton which I found satisfying. The cap is sturdy and shuts with a satisfying click, so can be tossed into handbags without worries. The shade name is written at the bottom. I wish there was a color code thing that would’ve been beneficial since I have a lot of 9 to 5 lippies and every time I have to keep searching for a particular shade.
Shade: Pink Affair is a pretty coral pink which is neither too bright nor dull. It is an apt color for everyday wear too. Pink lovers are going to love this. It looks too bright in the bullet but it is totally different when worn.
Texture and pigmentation: The texture is just like other crème lipsticks; it is very smooth and doesn’t tug. It is very creamy too. It does make fine lines appear less. The pigmentation is really lovely. In one swipe, you almost get the full color depending on the pressure with which you apply.
Lasting power: Since this is creamy, it tends to transfer to cups, which is a bit unsightly. It doesn’t survive heavy meals and tends to fade from the corners. The lasting power is about 4.5+ hours and re-application is needed when it fades. It does leave behind a stain once it wears off and a makeup remover is needed to get rid of it. It is not very drying since the formula is creamy but it isn’t moisturizing either.
I love the color a lot and I do not have any major issues with this. I will be seen wearing this one a lot in the coming days! 😀
