I have always loved the Lakme 9 to 5 matte lipsticks which are similar to their creaseless range. Recently, I found a classic brown shade with a little glossy sheen to it. I found the lipstick quite moisturising and hence, I picked it up. The shade I’m reviewing today is Hazel Rush. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Creme Lipstick – Hazel Rush:
The Lakme 9 to 5 Creaseless Creme Lipstick in the shade Hazel Rush comes in a rose gold case which I love. It shuts tightly making an audible click sound and hence, it is travel-friendly. Generally, I don’t like lipsticks with pointed bullets but, this comes with a flat top which is really nice.
The shade Hazel Rush is a classic brown shade. It does not have any shimmer or frost in it. It glides smoothly and provides a deep brown color to my lips. In case you are deeper toned, avoid layering this lipstick too much. For lighter skin tones, this lipstick will complement black outfits really well. In general, most skin tones can carry this classic chocolate brown without any effort. I find the finish to be slightly glossy and moisturising as it keeps my lips smooth and does not bleed much.
It has a light texture which is neither too thick nor too creamy. The lipstick sits comfortably on my lips. It has a slight vanilla fragrance which I like. The staying power is around 2 to 3 hours after which it starts fading away. Overall, it is a decent brown lipstick and it is suitable for women with dry lips.
