Packaging:

This sunscreen is housed in sleek peach coloured plastic container with golden cap. This is a pump packaging which is hygienic to use, also the product does not get wasted.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Mattifying Super Sunscreen:

This sunscreen is creamy in texture and white in colour. The smell is mild and pleasant which lingers on for some time after application. This sunscreen is easy to apply which means you can spread it easily on the face and do not have to rub it, so that it can sink into your skin.  It sets within a minute or two after which you can apply your regular makeup on top of it.  As the name suggests, it’s a mattifying sunscreen, so it doesn’t give an oily feel post application.

This sunscreen has 50 PA+++ SPF, so it provides adequate protection from sun and I rest assured that my delicate skin is protected from the harsh effects of UVA and UVB sun rays which cause tan and sunburn.  However, this sunscreen needs to be re-applied after 3-4 hours (though I feel the need to re-apply it early, say 2-2.5 hours) so the claim of  providing “9 to 5 protection” doesn’t seem to be true.  It also leaves a whitish cast on the face, which disappears quickly. So, overall, it is a good product, though I had high expectations from this product, still it works okay for me.

Super oily skin and North Indian Heat???You need to reapply it more often I guess. These two are too adverse conditions to let any makeup/product stay on your face *nababana* *nababana*
