My recent lipstick love is the Lakme Gloss Addict Range. I tried a few lipsticks from this range and loved them, which made me buy 4 more shades. I absolutely love the formula and the shades are extremely gorgeous. There is one shade for every lady’s liking. This range would definitely impress you, if you like glossy lipsticks. My Experience with Lakme Absolute Coral Lustre Gloss Addict:

Lakme has innovated a lot with their lip colours recently and has an amazing range to offer. I picked up 2 shades from their Gloss Addict range. This one comes in a long, deep, grey box with the lipstick inside. The lipstick comes in a dark, silver, cylindrical bottle with a transparent lid. The packaging is fancier than the 9 to 5 range.
It is very handy and looks gorgeous in one’s kitty. But, we need to be pretty careful while closing the lid because the texture is very soft and it might just rip some lipstick off, while closing it.

This shade is a gorgeous, peachy, coral colour and looks extremely refreshing, when applied. It is a perfect colour for spring and summer. It instantly creates a pop on the lips, as soon as you apply it. The shade is not very vibrant but good enough to be noticeable.

The one thing I did not like about it, is that it will suit only fair skin tones. Most of the Indian skin tones will not be able to carry it, hence it would not look appealing on dusky skin tones.

The texture is buttery soft and glides very smoothly on the lips giving a pop of colour in just one swipe. It has some shimmer if you observe it closely, but they do not appear on the lips on applying. It is a highly pigmented shade with a balmy texture, which gives you a boost of colour along with hydration to the lips. It also gives a glossy shine, which instantly attracts attention.

It is very creamy and due to the pigmentation, it does settle into fine lines and makes dark, peach colour in the lines very noticeable. The neon pink lipstick from the same range highlighted the chapped areas, but this one did not. Infact, it provided good hydration to my chapped lips and they looked well treated.

It stays very pigmented and glossy for the initial 2 hours and then settles down to a semi matte finish, where the colour loses its intensity. After 2 hours, it looks more like a tinted lip balm with good pigmentation, basically the boldness goes away. It survived snacking but it would not survive heavy meals because the shade is not that bold. Overall, it stayed for 3-4 hours like any other lipsticks. This was beyond my expectation because being a light shade, I expected it to stay for a little less time but hats off to the formula.

I love, how it make my face look fresh. But, the range has better colors to offer. So, stay tuned for the reviews of more shades coming up!

• Transfers on glasses and tissues.
• Little pricey.
• Leaves shimmers on the lips after the colour fades away.
• Will not suit dusky skin-tones.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Lakme Absolute Coral Lustre Gloss Addict?
Yes, I surely do recommend this, as it has an amazing shade between orange and peach. It is a beautiful summery shade that makes you look totally refreshing and sweet.

Conclusion:
I think, it has a very pretty shade but not versatile enough to suit all Indian skin tones. So, this can be skipped as there are various amazing shades in this range that can be tried.
