Today I am here to review a very fresh launch from Lakme. When I saw it my expression was like wow.! So I went ahead and ordered it. I took no time to test and review it as soon as I got this Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Lipstick in Pink Temptation. Its price was really pocket burning, but thanks to online shopping, I got a huge discount.

Price: INR 800 (But I got it for just Rs.660 *happy dance*).

Packaging: This time Lakme kept the packaging different, chic, attractive and classy. It comes in a black colored outer pack which has brand name upfront and all other details at the sides. The bullet has a transparent outer cover with metallic black body (double covering), the cap is transparent and closes with a click, the shade can be seen from above, below a sticker has the shade name written on it. The bullet is very lightweight and is travel friendly.

My Take on Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Lipstick- Pink Temptation

Color, Texture & Pigmentation: The shade Pink Temptation is a purple based bubblegum pink shade, with lots of shimmers in it. It’s a cool tone pink which will suit extremely fair to medium skin tones, dusky skin toned beauties may not find this colour so flattering on themselves. Though the shimmers are concentrated but they hardly show up on lips. They add an extra sheen to the lipstick.

The lipstick has a very smooth, light and buttery texture. It glides very softly on bare lips and keeps lips moisturised throughout. The finishing is very glossy. Though it is a balmy textured lipstick yet it’s superbly pigmented, provides opaque coverage in single swipe, enough to cover naturally dark lips too. Really i am really impressed by the pigmentation of this lipstick.

Staying Power: The lipstick stayed put on me for 4 hours easily after that the color goes off by itself, leaving not much color or stain on lips, it can survives dry/light snacking.

Pros of Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Lipstick- Pink Temptation:

• Really nice purple based bugglegum pink shade.
• Packaging is really attractive & lightweight
• Pigmentation is awesome
• Texture is buttery smooth
• Glides like a butter on lips
• Doesn’t feels heavy & uncomfortable on lips.
• Keeps lips moisturised
• Staying power is not that bad, stayed put on me for 4hours.

Cons of Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Lipstick- Pink Temptation:

• Transfers easily
• Very Very pricey, their are lots of same textured lipsticks in the market with more decent staying power and very decently priced.

Recommendation/ Re-purchase: If you like I’ll not stop you, especially if you have badly dry lips, this can be perfect lip product for you, as I can understand we makeup lover girls are always tempted by new launches and that too from our favourite brand Lakme. I’ll buy atleast one more shade from this range.
