Marine collagen and high shine pigments come together in a new revolutionary 3D gloss to help keep lips plum and hydrated.
Lakme has a got a ton of new lip products, including new plump and shine glosses, the earlier ones were al shimmery but these ones are creamy, these are more like lip creams and paints rather than a gloss, they do have a couple of shimmer ones but surprisingly they have creamy ones more in the new collection. I am super happy Lakme is “reinventing”
I got this nude shade not to wear as a lip gloss alone, but I wanted to get a light shade to lighten some lipsticks and still gloss-ify them hence I chose this color, this is not a good color to worn alone, it will not suit most skin tones. It has subtle shimmer but it is not visible, it is more of a cream than shimmer or gloss.
The glosses come in the same packaging but the cream ones are Faces lip creams, these are hardly like glosses, they are and creamy and have a glossy creamy finish to them. This color is a peachy nude, it is way to creamy and it coats the lips so any pigmentation is hidden. Cream texture is thick but not really sticky, it is really like a lip cream or paint so it is a little hard to work with.
You need little and need to spread it evenly, the applicator is fine but this color makes me look really weird honestly, I cannot wear it alone but have done so for the purpose of swathes, I will essentially spread it evenly over darker lipsticks.
This gloss claims to stay for 6 hours, for me I wore it 10:20, it lasted good till 12, with snacks and breakfast, it had come down to half, then in another hour it settled in to the lip lines and was lost.It settles in lines and transfers too, so it may work for 4 hours without meals, so 6 hours claim is far fetched.
Overall I am very happy that they have some lip creams or paints but these are no way like glosses, these could be hard to work with but great for dry lips and pigmented lips, I think one shade try “toh banta hai” I dont like glosses, so I like these creamy lip paint like products. Check them out.
3.75/5 Not a good shade to be worn alone
