Purple is one of my favorites when it comes to eye makeup. I never miss a chance to pick up something from these shades, as I think they brighten up the whole look and pairs very well with black/brown eyes. Here is the review on the shade Purple.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Purple Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Crayon:
These crayons as the name says, comes in a chubby crayon type pencil. All the pencils are black and have a transparent lid. The lower section of the pencil is color coded which is Purple in this case. I would have loved if the cap shut with a click as I am scared it might open in the pouch and create mess.
The texture and pigmentation of this shade is good but it applies slightly patchy without a proper base. Prepping the lid is very important with this shade. I have the grey from the same range but that one is far better when it comes to texture of the pencil. Nevertheless this is not to be trashed but when I compare I find the grey variant creamier and hence easier to apply and blend. One stroke deposits enough color, though the pigmentation is buildable.
The shade is a gorgeous Purple with bluish undertones. This is definitely a party wear and great option for simple purple on the eyes paired with a pink or plum lip color.
The staying power is awesome. It stays on the lids till I remove it with a makeup remover. Once set, it does not smudge or crease. It lasted on my lids without primer for 6 hours flat. It was the longest I have worn and am sure it would have stayed same for few more hours.
