Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #427 Review

Today, I will be reviewing one of my mom’s lipsticks. Like most moms, my mom too is really fond of browns , maroons, reds or a combo of these. I found this colour quite wearable for certain party occasions or in combination with other shades. Read on to get the full review of Lakme Enrich Satins lipstick in the shade 427.

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #427:

I know all reviews begin with the description of packaging of the product, but the packaging of this lipstick from Lakme is so old, I am sure each and every girl in the world will recognize it with her eyes closed. Lakme has recently changed the packaging of these lipsticks, but this one came in the same old maroon tube that screams boredom.

Shade 427 of Lakme Enrich Satin lipstick is a reddish brown colour. But it has undertones of a third colour, i.e., pink. In the tube, it looks more reddish brown but the pink hue can be seen more when applied on the lips. Overall, this is a very wearable colour.

The texture is extremely creamy. It glides like butter on your lips. It is neither hydrating nor drying, but will drench your lips in its creaminess on application. It transfers easily and heavily. It can tend to bleed and hence sealing it with a liner is advised.

The pigmentation of this lipstick is insane. One swipe is all you need to cover your lips. This particular shade will look good on every skin tone. It stains the lips which I really don’t like.

The staying power of this shade is average. It lasted on me for 3 hours with snacks and drinks. It disappears unevenly leaving a pinkish tint on the lips.
