This will be a review of another Lakme Enrich Satins lipstick. I am into subtle browns these days and craving my perfect brown that won’t look too brown. One day, I was going through my mom’s lipsticks when I found this brown- Lakme Enrich Satin in the shade 563. Let’s see if this was the one for me.

My Experience with Lakme Enrich Satins Lipstick #563:

I know all reviews begin with the description of packaging of the product, but the packaging of this lipstick from Lakme is so old, I am sure each and every girl in the world knows about it. Lakme has recently changed the packaging of these lipsticks, but this one came in the same old maroon tube that screams boredom.

Shade 563 of Lakme Enrich Satin lipstick is a cocoa brown colour. It has shimmers, but they do not feel gritty on the lips. It is a very versatile colour. A light swipe of this lipstick gives my lips that subtle brown colour which can pass as a n*de brown. On the other hand, a deep-hand application can give a deep cocoa colour. I love to apply it to give soft brown colour to my lips.

The texture is extremely creamy. It glides like butter on your lips. It is neither hydrating nor drying, but will drench your lips in its creaminess on application. It transfers easily and heavily. It can tend to bleed and hence sealing it with a liner is advised.

The pigmentation of this lipstick is insane. One swipe is all you need to cover your lips. This particular shade will look good on every skin tone.  The staying power of this shade is average. When applied as a deep cocoa colour, it lasts for 3 hours with snacks and drinks. As a light brown shade, it lasts for 1-1.5 hours.
