Summer at my home town is hot and humid. Most eye creams simply feel like grease after an hour of application. Serums alone are more than enough. I came across Lancome Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye Illuminating Youth Activator last month, and here is the review.

Ingredients:

How to Use:
Step 1: Prepare the Applicator
Swirl the pearl applicator against the neck of the bottle to get the right amount for both eyes.
Step 2: More Luminous Eye Contour
Sweep the pearl under your eye, from the outer corner to the inner corner, then back. Repeat the motion above the eyelid
Step 3: See Deflated Eye Bags
Beginning at the inner corner under the eye, draw small spirals with the pearl. End at the outer corner.
Step 4: Smoother Skin
Use small zig-zag movements down the length of lines and wrinkles, as if you’re erasing their appearance. Pat in the remaining serum with your fingertips.
My Experience with Lancome Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye Illuminating Youth Activator:
I don’t have severe dark circles, but the area around my eyes look dull and gets puffed up easily. Recently, I also noticed very fine lines due to sun glare. Last month, when I went shopping, the store assistant at Lancôme introduced this product to me. The product comes in a silvery, small 20 ml glass bottle with a teardrop shaped pearl applicator. The serum has a mild fragrance and is translucent white in appearance.
I have now been using this product at night for about a month and I must say, this is an incredible product with some serious luxury packaging (I mean the applicator is a real pearl!). However, the “pearl” draws out too much serum at a time, but on massaging it feels cool on the eyes. The serum itself is incredible; it sinks right in and seals in the moisture. Although it’s got a watery texture, it’s not less moisturizing than any cream; plus it doesn’t grease up in humid weather. It instantly de-puffs the eyes. It leaves the area around my eyes smooth, soft, and bright.
Since I am 24, I don’t have saggy or crow-feet ridden under-eyes, so I can’t really tell about its effects on deep wrinkles, but the dark circles have reduced to quite an extent. I can only hope that it will actually prevent future wrinkles (fingers crossed!). However, the fine lines from sun glare have considerably disappeared. It’s the best eye product I’ve used thus far. 😀
