What I love about Lancome Le Crayon Khol Eye Liners
- They are super soft. They glide on your eyes without any tugging or pulling.
- I can wear them on my waterline and they have never irritated my eyes.
- On my waterline , these pencils say on for good 5 hours but on my upper lash line or lower lashline they stay on until I remove them.
- I have two shades with me – 02 Brun and 013 Silver : I would say that Brun stays longer than the Silver. Maybe because the pigment of Brun is stronger than the Silver.
- Both the shades are super duper pigmented and you could create dramatic looks with these.
- You can create soft smokey looks with these or just apply them neatly, these stay.For people with oily lids I would definitely recommend prepping and priming their lids before applying these eye pencils or these would smudge.
- I have never had raccoon eyes even after I have worn the dark brown shades deep and dark.These stay pretty well on my eyes.
- The pencils are looongg so they would last you for good many months.
- These could be sharpened and I like that.
- These don’t break while sharpening.
- The ends of the pencils are coloured so they are easier to locate.
- These come of easily with an eye makeup remover.

What I don’t like about Lancome Le Caryon Khols?
- These are not waterproof but the waterproof versions of the same pencils is available at Lancome.
- These didn’t sharpen too well for me. So you see the crookedness towards the tip of the pencils? The good thing is that the pencils don’t break while sharpening but I don’t like the crooked old feeling of after I sharpen them.
I am also not sure if it’s with my pencils only . DO let me know if you have used these.

I love these khols a lot and they are pretty comparable to MAC Eye Kohls. Trying to finish up one black eyeliner from my collection and after that I’ll pick either 01 Noir or 024 Black Gold.

BTW wanted to ask you can that Inglot pencil be used on waterline ?
No I don’t think so , HD. Only pencils that say Khol can be applied on waterline. Does that one say??
Yeah Lancome pencils have stayed the longest on my eyes among all the kajals or kohl pencils that I have.
nope..it just says soft precision eyeliner n this staying power is tempting me to get Lancome
The best thing is that they don’t smear or smudge all over your eyes even though they are such soft pencils. Actually HD these would stay differently on different people. If you have very watery eyes, these would wear of pretty soon, if you have okayish watery eyes, the staying power is pretty good, much better than regular kajals and MAC eye khol.
Brun looks lovely on your eyes…and i liked the black gold swatch too..i have very watery eyes
so far i hav not found any kohl which stays on for more than 3 hours in my water line…Rati, any recos??
Nothing Shyna, if you have watery eyes, it’s just best to set your kajals with eye shadows so that they don’t smudge and give you racoon eyes. The tears in your eyes would always bereak the pencil formula and the kajal would fade.
Layering is another thing that should be done to make your makeup stay longer but generally people go overboard with it. Like if you apply 1-2 swipes of kajal, make it 2-3 swipes but then you would have to set your lower lashline pretty well with the eyeshadow or the kajal would be all around your eyes.
If you want your makeup to stay all day long you need to have layers of makeup on your face :
moisturiser + Primer + liquid foundation + cream blush + powder + powder blush + fix it spray.
same goes with eyes or lips . It’s actually not possible to do on day to day basis.
It’s always best that you do less, look fresh and “believe” in touch ups.
Oh no cant even think of layering my face/eyes like that daily…
so always carry a pouch with your makeup essentials and do touch ups whenever and wherever you can.
yes, ur rite…I think I will try and check it out and see how long it stays on my eyes and then think of buying
oh the Inglot pencil , don’t wear it on your waterline in that case.

Gunmeen, actually I recently got a new laptop and I am still trying to figure out how to do videos.

Okay khols and kajals are something of your personal preference. These would smudge so you need to set them and if you have watery yes these would also fade. But someone like me, I would always buy kohls pencils over the regular eye pencils because they are softer and I can smudge them.

Brun is actually a true chocolate brown colour.
I got this pencil free with my Lancome purchase and I love it.. I’m not able to remember the name and it’s not in the swatch as well.. I’ll chk out the shade and let you know.. N u look fab in both the shades

Rati..in the swatches..whats the first greenish line? You started with Brun..which I assumed is the second one.. ?:-) ?:-) I think that sharpening problem happens with most wooden pencils

I lot of people change their names after marriage, for some it’s a personal thing and for some it’s optional.
I had an option not to change my surname as well. But after marriage I did add sanjeev’s surname to my name. So now it’s “my name +maiden’s name + sanjeev’s surname.”

You know Poornima, a lot of stuff that colorbar is selling these days is old. Something is with their dates also.
It’s been long I have purchased anything from colorbar and I used be such a big fan of colorbar products. Also I have a feeling that they are going to continue with their i glide pencils and disc the define ones so they are just selling out the leftover.
