Life by Esprit Eau De Toilette and Shower Gel Review

I’m going to review my one and only purchase from Esprit Fragrance range and one of my favourite casual fragrances. Whenever I walk into an Esprit store, I end up buying something or the other. I like their accessories, but I feel their clothes are overpriced as they are essentially casual wear. This fragrance and shower gel came in a package and I felt they were good for travel because of the size. I tried the fragrance and liked it, good for office wear as well as casual wear. I have a few perfumes from Elizabeth Arden, L’occitane and Revlon. There are some other body sprays I bought from the drugstore, cheap ones just to wear when I go to the shops, etc. These cheap sprays usually have a strong alcohol smell. However, I do not have a casual/everyday perfume as such, which is reasonably priced and doesn’t smell of alcohol.
When I saw this perfume, I thought it was travel friendly, cute and the fragrance was suitable for everyday wear. It will also make a good gift for friends.
About the Fragrance:
Life by Esprit was introduced in 2003, so this is not a new fragrance. It has a gentle floral fragrance. The heart is floral, feminine, filled with sweet and intense notes of jasmine, lotus, gardenia and orchid. The base consists of cashmere, musk, sandalwood and honeysuckle.

EDT 15 ml. Shower gel 70 ml.

It was priced at around $25, I bought it on sale for $12.
My Take on Life by Esprit Eau De Toilette and Shower Gel:
I like Esprit for casual wear, so when I saw the perfume and shower gel, I was attracted to the brand name. The packaging was cute. The perfume bottle is small but sturdy. It is made of purple, orange, purple and green block prints, the lid is of purple colour. Both the shower gel and body wash can be easily carried while travelling. The perfume bottle can be carried in the handbag for touch-ups. This is also good as a gift. The shower gel is lightly fragranced and it lathers well leaving a light fragrance. It works well when layered with the perfume. However, this perfume, even though has floral tones, smells kind of fruity/citrusy as well, perfect for any season I would say. Most of the floral and fruity fragrances are apt for summer, but this one can be carried throughout any weather. The fragrance is not too light or too strong.
It is suitable for casual wear as well as work. The staying power is really good. Even though it might suit just anyone, I would say it is more suitable for teenagers and twenty some things. This is because older ladies might prefer more sophisticated fragrances. But the price was what attracted me most to this perfume. If you expect an expensive, sophisticated perfume, this is not for you.But if you want a simple, casual and reasonable priced perfume, this is for you. It does not smell of alcohol like cheap perfumes do, I think for the sale price of $12, it is a real value buy.
Why I Love Life by Esprit Eau De Toilette and Shower Gel:
- Simple, casual fragrance for everyday wear.
- Reasonably priced, you don’t have to break the bank to smell good.
- Cute packaging, easy to carry around in handbags and touch-ups.
- The fragrance is not too overpowering.
What I Do Not Like about Life by Esprit Eau De Toilette and Shower Gel:
- This is not a very feminine, girly perfume. This is not a con, but I prefer really feminie fragrances.
- Might not be easily available in India.

Will I Repurchase Life by Esprit Eau De Toilette and Shower Gel?
This perfume will last me quite a while, since I rotate all my perfumes. However, If I see this again at a discounted price, I will definitely repurchase it.

I really had no clue they had shower gels and perfumes only. I thought they were only clothes and watches brand. 😀 I will check it out at their store. :))

they do have a small selection of perfumes and none of their perfumes are too girly, so you can try.
however, might not be worth buying if it is not discounted
