Lime Crime Blue Milk Liquid Eyeliner Review

My Experience with Lime Crime Blue Milk Liquid Eyeliner:

Packaging:  I do love this fun and quirky packaging with the polka dot cap. You can easily spot the color of the color through the transparent tube. The brush on this eyeliner is a thin flexible wand. Though it is easy to use, it will not give you as much precision as a felt tip eyeliner or even a slanted liner brush (which is what I prefer using with this product).

Texture and Pigmentation:  This eyeliner is thin and watery, but it is quite pigmented as well. I get a vibrant opaque color in two layers, which is quite a feat for a color like this.

Shade:  “Blue Milk” is a gorgeous pale pastel aqua blue color. Though I would not term this color as wearable for every day, it is something that can be used to give a unique twist and a pop of color to an otherwise simple look (which is what I prefer to use this for). You can also use this to create eye art if you are feeling creative enough. This shade dries down to a matte finish and is devoid of any shimmer.

Staying Power:  Staying power of this liner is quite good. It lasts a good 6-7 hours without fading or smearing. It is not waterproof and will bleed at the first sign of water. The thing I don’t like about this product is that the shelf life is noted as 6 months. I have had this for a few months now and it’s already starting to develop a rancid scent. For a color like this, which is only being used occasionally, it seems like a waste of money to put down for a product which you have to throw out in a few months. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the quality and performance of this product and I will recommend this if you want to get creative and try out something different.

In the EOTD, I have used this Lime Crime Blue Milk eyeliner in “Blue Milk” to give myself a second wing under my black eyeliner to complement my eyeshadow. The eyeshadows used are all Makeup Geek one with the star shade “Pegasus” on the lid.

• Very short shelf life.
• Not waterproof.
