My Experience with Lip Ice Baby Pink Strawberry Tinted Lip Balm:
Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The lip balm comes in a beautiful baby pink outer packaging. Each and every detail about the product is mentioned on the back of this packaging. The lip balm tube is pink in color with baby pink cap and base. The lip balm tube bears the detailing in cool white fonts and patterns. The tube is pretty small and can be easily carried in the pocket. It has a regular twist up base that works pretty smoothly. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel-friendly.
This lip balm comes in three different variants Baby Pink, Poppy Pink and Berry Red. I had already reviewed the Berry Red variant. This one is the Baby Pink Variant. The shade is a sheer reddish pink color. The lip balm contains very fine silver colored shimmer particles that do not look chunky and gives a nice sheen to the lip balm. The lip balm is quite sheer and it does not cover my pigmented lips completely but still, it looks pretty on the lips. The pigmentation of the lips cannot be covered even upon layering. The fragrance of the lip balm is something that I absolutely love. It has a strong strawberry fragrance that I totally enjoy. The smell stays for quite sometime and fades away gradually. The smell is mild and non-bothering. The lip balm does not have a taste in it.
The texture of the lip balm is great. It is very super smooth and creamy. Hence, it glides on the lips like a dream. There is no grittiness in the texture of the lip balm. It is non-sticky and feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is lightweight and it does not have that waxy feel. The lip balm comes with SPF-15 that helps to protect the lips from harsh sun rays. The formula is very nourishing and it helps to heal my dry lips. My lips stay kind of hydrated for pretty long after applying this lip balm. This lip balm is apt for dry winters when the lips get super dry and it deeply nourishes the lips.
The lasting power of the lip balm is somewhere around 3-4 hours on my lips. In the meantime, it looses its glossy sheen but, a hint of pink stays on my lips for long. But, it definitely requires reapplication after a full meal.
