Today, I am reviewing a product from L’Occitane and its the Dessert Rose Ultra Rich Body Cream. It is a Limited Edition Body Cream. I had bought the full set of this collection, hand cream, lip balm and body cream. I have used up the hand cream and the body cream is almost over. I have reviewed the L’Occitane Desert Rose Hand Cream. I thought it is the right time to review the body cream.  Read on to find about my opinion on this body cream.

My Experience with L’Occitane Desert Rose Ultra Rich Body Cream:

I am excited to review this product as this is one of the best body creams I have ever used. I have tried body butters from Body Shop and thought of trying something different last winter and I am glad I did. This body cream comes in a jar, though not very hygienic, but I love it. It has a very bright pink-colored print on it.

It is a very thick body cream that hydrates and moisturizes skin beautifully. It is very luxurious not because it is very expensive, but it is very rich. People with dry skin would love it completely. Oily skin might want to skip it in summers, but this is a must for winters.

I apply this at night mostly as it is very thick and takes a couple of seconds to sink in. It has a very feminine scent that stays on you for a long time. In winters, my skin is so dry that whatever I apply on my skin, it does not feel hydrated. After a couple of minutes, it feels as if I had never applied a body cream. It is that bad.  This one does its job perfectly. It does not feel oily on my skin, my skin is extremely dry. This body cream is enriched with Moroccan rose that helps to protect skin and keep it hydrated.

L’Occitane uses high percentage of shea butter, which is a great ingredient for any moisturizing product. It could be for hands, feet or whole body. That tempts me to try their other range of body products.

Overall, it is completely a luxury product. It is an excellent option for dry skin in winters. I need a thick body cream throughout the year. It is worth the splurge. I highly recommend this. I hope you can find it in stores, not sure if it is still available in India. If you can get your hands on this body cream, give it shot.
