L’Occitane Pivoine Flora Hand Cream

Hey Beauties,

Today, I’m going to review one of the goodies from my prize gift that I absolutely cherish :D and that is a hand cream from L’Occitane – Pivoine Flora Hand Cream.

L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Hand Cream

Product Description:

Enriched with shea butter, the Pivoine Flora Hand Cream softens and envelops the hands with the delicate, flowery perfume of peonies. The cream glides on and is absorbed rapidly, providing the hands with nourishment and protection.

Price:

495 INR for 13 ml/.44 FL OZ.

Ingredients:

Peony – Paeonia lactiflora (as mentioned on their website).  This, the common garden peony, is a herbaceous perennial with fleshy roots. It produces a clump of stems every year and large, fragrant, more or less “double” flowers in shades from white to crimson. Peonies were introduced into France in the 16th century and are native to northern China, eastern Siberia, Japan and Korea. Similar in appearance, the European peony, paeonia officinalis, grows in southern and south-east Europe.  Peonies have been cultivated in China for 2,000 years for both ornamental purposes (at least 1,000 varieties) and medicinal applications, with peony root used to treat digestive complaints, inflammatory conditions and hemorrhages. The European peony was used for similar medicinal purposes in ancient times and the Middle Ages. It was also considered a magical herb and specific precautions had to be taken when picking it. Dry peony root was believed to be a lucky charm, and worn as a protective talisman. Peony has softening and moisturizing properties.

Great review, Tara! You’re tempting me into buying this but thankfully, my brain still has the upper hand. 500 bucks for a hand cream = indulgence for the time when I am on the wrong side of 25. :P

I know even I keep forgetting it unless they become really dry or bad :P But I have started using it before going to bed :) U can also adapt the same as one it has nice 8 hrs to work wonders and other u avoid the need of re-applying once u need to wash ur hands! :D
