I have been wanting to include a good serum in my skin care routine since a very long time. I have tried Lotus Herbals whitening serum but I was not too impressed with it. WIth other brands, the huge “chemically laden” ingredients lists used to scare me.  But I highly trust L’occitane products. They work beautifully for me. And when I saw the ingredients list of this serum, I was not totally convinced but I guess the trust factor made me give this serum a shot. I must say I am totally not disappointed.

It is a thin creamy serum that gets absorbed in skin quickly without leaving any greasiness or oiliness behind. It feels ultra light on skin and I feel, it works. It keeps my skin super smooth and even in such harsh weather, I don’t feel a trace of dryness or stretchiness in my skin. After using it for almost a month now I feel that my skin does look smoother. Otherwise, no matter what products I use , my skin does tend to get a little dull in winter season.

It keeps my skin moisturized and hydrated all day long. I follow it up with a moisturizer and sunscreen. And I am sorted.

I am not too sure if I’d call it my HG serum because I have not tried many. But this one, I am definitely going to repurchase it many times.

I wouldn’t recommend it to girls with combination or oily skin. In fact even though I have dry skin, I feel this would be a little heavy for summer season. For winter season, this is going to be a staple product in my skin care regimen.

L’occitane Shea Fabulous Serum  is quite fabulous. :)
