My Take on L’Occitane Volumizing Conditioner:

Just like the shampoo from this range, this conditioner totally lives up to its claims. It does exactly what it says. I mostly use this conditioner with the L’Occitane Volumising Shampoo and I am always very happy with the results.

I have long, thick, but fine hair. It is prone to tangling up quite often. Moreover, shampoos in general make my hair a little dry (even though I have normal hair otherwise) and just a little too “big.”  The use of a conditioner, therefore, is indispensable for me.

This is a white creamy conditioner that is actually quite runny for something creamy—it is definitely not a thick cream. It is very easy to apply on the hair. It has a nice fragrance, which I suppose it owes to the five essential oils (Artemisia – Petitgrain – Sweet Orange – Rosemary- Palmarosa) that it contains. Additionally, this conditioner is silicone-free. It is not as harsh as other conditioners that are loaded with chemicals can be. It also contains grape seed oil and a sheathing agent.

Each time I use this conditioner, I find that it considerably detangles my fine hair. It softens my hair and adds a healthy shine to it without weighing it down one bit. It locks in adequate moisture that makes the hair look calm and tame. It also lends it a fuller look.

Because this conditioner is expensive, I would like to tell you why I would pick this conditioner over any other conditioner that would retail for much less. Firstly, I find that this conditioner is less harsh than many others and yet, it does its job so well. I don’t use this conditioner every time I wash my hair only because it’s so expensive, but I have no reason to complain about the product. So, if you’re in the mood to splurge on hair products, then go for this one.

However, make sure that your selection goes with your hair type. L’Occitane has several other hair products that suit different hair types.

Pros of L’Occitane Volumizing Conditioner:

  • This is a very good conditioner that entirely lives up to its claims. It detangles, tames and softens the hair. It restores a healthy shine and gives the hair a fuller appearance.
  • It is silicone-free and therefore not a harsh choice for a conditioner.
  • It has a nice fragrance that lingers on in your hair even a day or two after you wash it.
  • It contains five enchanting essential oils as ingredients.

Cons of L’Occitane Volumizing Conditioner:

  • Nothing, really.

Verdict on L’Occitane Volumizing Conditioner:

I really like this conditioner. It does exactly what it says: it gives you soft, shiny, tangle-free, weightless hair that smells great! It is not harsh on the hair and it is easy to apply. The product in the bottle lasts you a long time.
