One of the struggles I face often is “static hair!” I have tried different ways to reduce such a condition, but unfortunately, the issue persists and then I came across this range from L’Oréal that claims to calm static and even though I have replaced hair conditioners with masks, I wanted to try this to test the same. My Experience with L’Oreal Elvive Smooth and Polish Perfecting Conditioner:
I have natural wavy hair and due to static, my hair turns poker straight sticking to my face and every possible thing that comes across. It has been a struggle to maintain it and when I saw this conditioner claiming to reduce static, I picked it up.
The conditioner comes in a peach packaging with a bright dark pink cap. The plastic bottle comes with a flip cap. The cap is sturdy and there is no leakage and thus suitable for travelling. The conditioner is creamy, white in color, and is semi thick in consistency. The fragrance is fruity and pleasant. I usually have a lot of static hair when I travel in flights and as I was travelling, there was no better time to test. I washed my hair in the morning and conditioned it with the conditioner. The first thing that I loved about this product was the way it made my hair smooth and soft to touch. I have dry ends, and this conditioner made the ends look healthy and shiny, the splits could be easily visible with the shine which I didn’t like, but it was easier to hold and cut off, good way to kill time!
My hair looked very shiny too compared to the normal conditioners I use; for what I wanted from this product was delivered. I came out of the flight without having any static on my hair and my hair was natural as it was and the frizz was greatly reduced and the fly-aways were neatly polished and in place the way I had combed in such a way that I have applied serum to keep them in place. The conditioner makes the hair look shiny and keeps it all in place, reduces frizz, and makes hair free of static, but other than that, there is no other effect and the results are temporary too. The conditioner doesn’t make the scalp oily or greasy very soon either.
