Don’t we all love using hot tools like flat iron, hair dryers and curlers to style our hair. These heat styling tools do give amazing results and create lovely hairstyles, but over a period of time, the damage starts to appear. Once the hair gets damaged, there is no way to repair it except to get the damaged parts chopped off, which not a lot of women out there would like. So, another option is to use heat protection mists religiously to prevent damage. Today, I am reviewing a heat protection smoothing mist from L’Oreal Paris Hair Expertise range.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Eversleek Heat Protection Smoothing Mist:

The heat protection mist comes in a coppery brown packaging with a dark brown spritz nozzle. This one is a cylindrical long bottle. It is loaded with a lot of quantity and just a little quantity gets used each time. It is handy but I am still not sure to carry it because the cap opened once and the product leaked out. The nozzle is very convenient to use, but it doesn’t work that well. It twists a lot on its own and that is why it becomes a bit irritating to spray.

The heat protection mist looks pretty thick if you open the cap and see it, but when you spray it on the hair, it feels just like water and very light. I have fine hair, so I really need to be cautious while using hair sprays, but with this, there is nothing to worry. It gets absorbed very quickly, be it dry hair or wet hair. It soaks itself in the hair in minutes and then I have fresh hair, ready to be straightened out. The smell is very pleasant. It smells like a typical perfumed hair spray and it keeps my hair smelling good all day long. It revives my senses the moment I spray it.

I use a little amount before blow-drying or straightening my hair. My hair gets straightened very quickly as compared to when not sprayed with this mist. It adds instant shine and silkiness to my hair when I am done with blow-drying or ironing my hair. My hair does look sleek as claimed by the brand and this spray keeps my hair straightened for long, like 2-3 days.  I do not see a lot of tangles in my hair. It does control my frizzy hair as I don’t notice a lot of frizzy ends. I think it does protect my hair well because I do not see a lot of damage or split ends. This heat protection mist did work fine for me, so yes, I am very happy with this hairstyling product.

• I did not see a lot of damage; so I assume it is protecting my hair.
• Does control the frizz.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Eversleek Heat Protection Smoothing Mist:

• Limited availability in India.
• The spray nozzle doesn’t work that well.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Eversleek Heat Protection Smoothing Mist?
Yes, I have tried quite a few heat protection mists from L’Oreal and have loved them all, so yes highly recommend this one and yes, I would love to pick L’Oreal heat protection sprays again! This one is very similar to silk and gloss spritz from their “Studio” range, which work equally well.
