Skin/Hair Type: Oily and occasionally acne-prone/Normal

Hello gorgeous ladies,

As much as we love makeup, we should love to keep our skin clean by washing off all the makeup before going to bed. We have heard this a zillion times, but I really cannot stress how much this routine has changed my skin, considering I have oily and acne-prone skin. Speaking of removing makeup, a good mild Micellar Water is irreplaceable. Presenting the L’Oreal Paris Hydra Total Micellar Water!! L’Oreal wasn’t a brand that was ever on my radar for skin care because when I generally think of the brand, I always focus on the makeup side of their brand. I am happy to say that my outlook on L’Oreal as a brand has changed because I think their skin care is something that is just as great as many of the makeup products they offer.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Hydra-Total 5 Micellar Water:

As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I have struggled with my skin for quite some time and have been really careful in selecting my skin care products.  I feel a gentle Micellar Water can work wonders in removing every last trace of makeup without wrecking havoc on the skin. I have loved the Bioderma Cleansing Water for a long time now and have been looking for more affordable options that might deliver just like my beloved Bioderma! And guess what, I finally found one!
Micellar water bottle

This Micellar Water feels, looks and smells exactly like water! I use approximately 2 – 3 cotton rounds soaked in the Micellar Water to remove my face and eye makeup. Like other removers, I do leave the cotton rounds pressed on my eyes for about 30 seconds before gently removing the product, and it works wonders!! I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this product to help remove makeup, dirt and debris. I found this product to be extremely smooth and soothing on the skin. Also, this product really allowed the moisture to stay locked into my skin rather than drying and feeling tight.
Open cap

Even though this product is targeted for dry skin, it works awesome on my oily skin as well. This Micellar Water will suit all skin types, even the very sensitive kinds.
Press open lids

Overall, this is a really gentle product that is effective in removing all forms of makeup, dirt and debris. I also love that this leaves my skin feeling refreshed and healthy – a super hit product from L’Oreal.

Would I Recommend L’Oreal Paris Hydra-Total 5 Micellar Water?
I have always praised L’Oreal for having amazing products and their skin care is certainly not lacking. Another great advantage is that many of the ingredients within their skin care line are actually geared towards locking in hydration and really making the skin appear and feel better. Did I mention that none of these products contain alcohol, the #1 ingredient in skin care and beauty products that causes the skin to dry out. I’m extremely excited to continue to use these products and continue to make my skin feel hydrated and refreshed!
