I personally don’t prefer doing heavy make-up. But a good foundation is a beauty product that I just cannot miss out on. My make up regimen is incomplete without a good quality foundation. Whether be it a wedding or a small birthday party, I know I can definitely rely on this foundation of mine.

My skin Type – I have a combination sky which tends to be a slight oily around the T-zone after a long day. My complexion could be termed as one tone lighter than wheatish.

A relative gifted me this foundation. Initially I was a little apprehensive to try it out as foundations are always meant to be chosen according to one’s skin type and complexion. But it seems that I was a little lucky where this foundation is concerned. Read on to find out more !!

My take on L’Oreal Paris Ideal Balance Unifying and Balancing Foundation in Nude Beige:

I love using this product especially around my eyes if I’m not in a mood to do extensive make up. I simply apply it around my eye area and it works wonders for me. It does not make my face look cakey or shiny. It’s lightweight texture helps it easily seep into the skin without feeling too greasy. It provides medium to good coverage. The best thing is that it did stay onto my face for quite a few hours. So the staying power is good.

I’m not too sure about other shades but this shade Nude Beige does suit the Indian skin tone, specially the ladies who are not too fair or too dark.

• No ingredients mentioned.
• Can’t think of any other than this.

Moreover, I think it might be slightly expensive as compared to other foundations. Cant be too sure though.

Final Verdict: If you have extremely dry or oily skin, then it can be skipped. It gives a matt look to your face. Very little product is required to touch up the entire face and neck. To summarize it, I would say it’s a good product for combination skin beauties. But it should definitely be avoided by dry- skinned ladies.
