L’Oreal Paris Mesmerizing Merlot Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor Review

Hope you all had wonderful weekend! Today, I am here to share another L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor with you all which totally impressed me unlike few frosty shades I have tried. I am so in love with this beautiful shade that I am determined to get it again & again. So, here I introduce seductive and sizzling ‘Mesmerizing Merlot’!

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Mesmerizing Merlot Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:

Well Mesmerizing Merlot seems like a deep berry pink lip stain to me and it gives almost similar color pay off like what we see in tube with just one swipe. I have tried few shades before and I can say that this is by far best of all, at least among the few shades I own personally like: Henna to Heaven or Toujours Teaberry which are average. The packaging seems pretty similar to that of previous shades with as usual lip brush applicator and lip balm.

The texture, finish and shade are beyond gorgeous this time! I was all blown away as soon as I swatched color on my lips – it is way creamy and glossy even with no lip balm on top. However, like other shades, it does need a lip balm in order to avoid that tacky feel while talking or pursing lips together.

Unlike frosty shades, this shade is too light and non-cakey, non-flaky on my lips irrespective of multiple swipes or texture of my lips. It gives almost full coverage to my lightly pigmented lips that too with single swipe while deeply pigmented lips need 2 or more, but that’s not a problem I think as long as it gives smooth, glossy finish which it actually does.

I am amazed how despite being a vampy, deep shade it gives a graceful makeover. It’s purely winter shade, but I love wearing it these days with my traditional outfits. I am sure it will work well on dry lips, though I would love to scrub and smoothen my lips a bit before using such shades for picture perfect pouts. I totally love its smooth, glossy finish without settling in lip lines or drying onto flaky patches.

It lasts longer with no flaky chipping off lips unlike other shades because firstly, I never need second swipe with this shade and secondly, it is way creamy and adheres like second skin on lips provided we scrub and moisturise them well. My lips never crave for hydration or lip balm with this shade on, surprisingly. While I do need lip balm for few initial hours because of its sticky nature, I observed that once it sets, it does not budge or make my lips look old or matured.

I never require a touch up of lip balm after initial usage with this shade. This explains how I managed to find diamond out of coal mine!  I whole heartedly recommend this shade to you all for its unique and different texture, finish which you will certainly love to live with.

Moreover, I do see that it refuses to come off completely even with my lipstick remover leaving behind a sheer berry pink tint which looks totally natural and beautiful on smooth soft lips. This might be tricky for beauties with dry and flaky lips. Other than that, it is par excellence to me. I am definitely getting it again with no further doubts!

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Mesmerizing Merlot Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:

• Such a mesmerizing, deep berry pink lip stain with amazing finish
• Intense pigmentation gives almost full coverage with single swipe depending upon degree of pigmentation on our lips
• Covers up lip pigmentation with 2-3 swipes with no cakey or weird feel
• The finish is absolutely creamy, light weight and glossy which adheres like second skin on our lips
• It neither feathers nor settles into our lip lines provided we pamper our lips a bit before using the shade
• It will certainly stay as long as 20+ hours
• It leaves a sheer tint behind which look so naturally beautiful
• I only need lip balm initially to avoid that sticky feel
• It certainly stays longer as it does not look flaky or chips off my lips unlike other shades
• It is also absolutely transfer free and by far best of all shades in terms of pigmentation, finish and texture
• Quite user friendly and travel friendly packaging

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Mesmerizing Merlot Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:

• I do need a balm initially to avoid that sticky feel
• Beauty with dry lips may need pampering before using it on lips for perfect finish

Conclusion:
Well, I don’t see these concerns as cons since we all know how important it is to scrub and pamper our lips irrespective of the lip color we are using. I love love love its finish on my lips! This is surely a staple vampy shade in my lip stash now.
