Aren’t we all just obsessed with one thing or the other and we tend to collect that product of obsession in all shades or types available? So is the case with the newly launched Loreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks. I seriously can’t get enough of these and I have 6 of them already. Sigh! The shade I’m reviewing today is Rock n’ mauve which is a very pretty mauve shade. Read on to find more about it.

What Loreal says about Rouge Caresse: Don’t just stroke your lips, caresse them. Lips say yes to this Caresse. A flutter of soft light-weight feeling color. Its delicate texture glides onto lips creating a veil of color with a luminous shine. Available in 10 bright and eye catching shades.

My take on L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Rock ‘N’ Mauve:

Let me begin by saying that I’m quite liking these Loreal Rouge Caresse lipsticks and I’m thinking of collecting all 10 shades available in them. Hahaha!

The packaging is similar to the Infallible lipsticks’ packaging. Sleek, elegant and classy! The sticker at the bottom denotes the shade of the lipstick. It’s very sturdy and totally travel friendly. Also, these lipsticks are very much similar to the texture of Revlon Lip Butters but I of course like these better for a lot of reasons.

The shade Rock N’ Mauve is an absolutely gorgeous mauve. It’s my second mauve lipstick and even though I’m not a huge fan of purples/mauves, I bought this just for the texture. But boy! I’m equally in love with the shade now 😀 . it’s a shade that’s perfect for all occasions and I’ll be wearing this one a lot in the coming times.

The color of the lipstick is sheer to buildable. I like it best when swiped only once. But the shade looks equally gorgeous when swiped more times. And it gives a gorgeous sheen to lips so you don’t have to worry about applying a gloss each time you apply this lipstick. It’s also very, very moisturizing and I hardly apply a lip balm before applying this lipstick. The lipstick lasts on me for about 3-4 hours but the stain remains even after that. Coming to the best part now, the texture. It’s just WOW! So creamy and balmy and feels so luxe. It glides onto lips very smoothly and does not settle into fine lines on lips. Though it does transfer a little but I do not mind that since i love the texture so much so I’m ready to ignore some of the minus points. All in all, best textured lipstick I’ve tried in a long time.

• Will suit “all” skin tones.

• Doesn’t last long
• Transfers a little.

Will I repurchase/ do I recommend L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Rock ‘N’ Mauve?

I will most definitely re-purchase this as soon as I finish this one off. And I obviously recommend it.
