I love wearing blush and I never step out without a light brush of a nice blush on my face. After a long tryst with different shades I now know that neither coral nor pale pink suits me. Only an obvious rosy pink shade stands out on my face and looks natural and healthy. But before I had this epiphany I did experiment with different shades of blush and the product mentioned in this post is from the experimental phase of my life.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris True Match Blush – Honey:
I bought this product along with another blush in shade ‘Rosy Cheeks’ and I used the latter shade to the point that the pan has been stripped naked and lid is broken and this is not because I am insanely in love with it but simply because I wanted to finish it up before I bought a new one.
Shade: The blush in shade ‘Honey’ is still almost untouched because this shade baffles me – it’s not a regular blush nor is it a bronzer but I guess a little bit of both which might be a blessing in disguise for few. Nevertheless, I have used it a few times but every time I felt it made me look a little dark. Hence, I refrain from using it more often but I guess this will look very pretty on fair skin tone beauties or a very light sweep for dusky beauties.
Packaging: it serves the purpose and more since it has a mirror underneath and a brush which is not that bad and comes in handy when in rush. Also, the plastic casing is very sturdy and only gave up after regular usage over months.
Texture: it is a powder blush but has minimum fall out and blends in easily. One or two sweeps are enough to get a good flush on cheeks.
Pigmentation: decent pigmentation with good color pay off and small quantity is required for regular wear.
Shimmer and shine: it has evenly distributed shimmer particles which are perfect for day wear. For parties or night out one can wear a cream blush underneath or a highlighter to get extra shine.
Fragrance: the product has no fragrance what so ever which works well for me.
Wear time: it lasts an entire day, the intensity might reduce but it stays put no matter what and does not transfer easily. It can be removed with any make up remover or a face wash.
Conclusion: it is a good product except the shade continues to baffle me.

The quality of these blushes are just too good 😀
I think I am gonna love it on my skin.
This is one of my first blushes. I agree that the shade won’t be perfect for blushing purpose but you can use it for contouring. It provides decent shadowing, and thats the primarily reason I love this blush. 🙂
