My experience with L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Extraordinary Oil for Normal Hair:

L’Oreal total repair oil comes in a nice classy golden orange bottle with pump dispenser. The pump makes it easier to dispense the right amount of oil. The texture of the oil is very light and not too  greasy. This works like a serum which nourishes and moisturizes the hair keeping it soft, shiny and frizz free.

It coats the hair with a nice shine and takes only 1-2 coats for lengthy hair. It does not leave any greasy feeling in the hands or palms. It has a nice flowery smell that’s stays for a whole day. My hair has lots of split ends and easily mar out my hair look, but after applying this oil it’s kind of smooth and silky. My only concern is that the oil dries out very quickly and doesn’t feel like having applied oil to the hair. I always love that little oil texture in the hair but these serum types of oil don’t  have that effect.

• Dries up very quickly. It’s exactly not a con but still I would like if it gives a little oily texture to the hair, hair would probably be more protected from other harsh effects like sun and aircons.

Overall, a wonderful serum that gives a good shine and nourishment to the hair. It has a nice flowery scent that is not too overpowering. Those who love serum for the hair, this is the best kind of oil and I recommend this to everyone.
