L’Oreal New True Match Super Blendable Concealer Review

Today, I’m going to write about my experience with my favourite concealer.  Its the L’Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Concealer.  I found this product when I was looking for a good liquid concealer for covering acne marks on my cheeks. In the store, I asked the SA to show me L’Oreal concealers and she showed me all the three shades they had. The shades were “light,” “medium” and “medium deep.” The SA told that medium would suit me. I tried the tester and I quite liked how the concealer just blended with my skin and I was happy with it. I bought it home and tried it the next day in day light. I saw that something was wrong with the shade. It looked two shades lighter than what would suit me. So, I had to go back and exchange it with “medium deep” shade. Though the medium deep shade looks darker in the tube, after applying, it matches my skin tone. This is one of the best top 3 products I have ever purchased. I find it is totally worth the price I paid for. I love how it blends so easily with my skin and the finish it gives.

Price:

Rs.720 for 5.2 grams

Shelf Life:

2.5 years.

Shade:

Neutral Medium/Deep N6-7-8

L'Oreal Concealer 1

The packaging is very simple. It comes as a transparent plastic tube with silver colored cap. The cap has applicator wand attached to it. The bristles of the applicator brush are very smooth and soft. Since the tube is transparent, you can see how much product is left in the tube easily.

L'Oreal Concealer 2

The texture of the concealer is liquid-y but not runny. It works best with well moisturised skin. It blends so well with the skin. It does not feel heavy at all after application. I have combination skin. After applying, I just dab a little compact over the oily areas and the concealer sets perfectly. After 1 to 2 hours of application, I have observed that the skin turns dewy but not oily. It gives medium to full coverage for my acne marks. The concealer is perfect for covering the blemishes, marks and under eye dark circles.

L'Oreal Concealer 3

It doesn’t leave any dry patches. It stays for 6-7 hours and starts to fade after that. It creases a bit around the fine lines of eye area if applied alone but if you set it with compact, then it stays put. The application is very even and easy to blend with the skin. Applicator helps in taking out the right amount of product from the tube.  Very little product is required for coverage. It gives very natural finish to the skin. It is easy to remove. It comes off with makeup remover in one swipe.

        1. Mini.. I have wheatish skin tone. But the medium is too light for wheatish skin and does not look natural is what I feel. So I went for medium deep which is perfect for me. Do swatch it in the counter and dont go for online shopping is what I suggest you 🙂 Hope this helped u..

    1. Manisha I have tried colorbar stick concealer.. it gives me dry patches after sometime.. Loreal one is really good… 🙂 check it out at the counter 🙂

  2. I am using compact of same range , though its little expensive but i love it !! Gonna try this one too 🙂 Thanksaaaaaa 😀

    1. althea foundations work as the base for make up where as concealers help to cover up dark circles, blemishes and marks on the skin. it totally depends on the skin type and your preference, the type of concealer you want to choose 🙂 hope this helped 🙂
