Today’s review is going to be on Lotus Ecostay Lip Color in the shade Flirty Pink. I had purchased two shades from this range few months ago. Then I spotted this shade and grabbed it for summers. Ignore the messy bullet, because I broke it. But now, time to share my views about this shade.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Colour – Flirty Pink:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in an extremely beautiful and shiny pink colored silk pouch. The packaging looks gorgeous and feels luxurious. The actual metal container works so smoothly and it is really a good travel-friendly packaging. I had already broken the lipstick, but thanks to the sleek nice packaging, I can still use it perfectly and store nicely.
Shade: ‘Flirty Pink’ is very cute bubbly pink shade. It is actually a neon pink shade which looks so gorgeous during the summers. I am quite confused about which undertone it actually has. In some pictures, it looks cool, and in some, it looks warm. Basically, it goes only with fair to medium skin tones.
It can wash out the dusky tone. But this shade looks extremely pretty on lips and it instantly freshens up my whole face. The pigmentation is also nice. But what I feel about this range is that the lighter shades are little less pigmented than the darker ones. So, this pink needs two or more swipes for that perfect color pay off.
Texture and Quality: At first, the texture was not smooth at all. It was drier than the other two shades I have. It required a lot of pressure and hence, it broke it from the base. But after few uses, the texture became quite smooth and soft. Now it can nicely spread on the lips. As it is not so smooth, layering makes it patchy. Actually, I need a moisturizing lip balm before applying this. Then it looks quite pretty in texture.
It has a soft matte finish with a balanced formula. It keeps lips moisturized and hydrated. It does not dry out my lips but the center of my lips feels dry at the end of the day. It also feels light on the lips and it is safe since it has SPF 20. This lip color doesn’t settle into the fine lines and also doesn’t crease as much. It actually looks better after few hours of application.
Staying Power: This is really a long lasting lip color. It stays on my lips for around 6 hours. It fades away a little from the center of my lips after 5 hours. Otherwise, it stays on nicely with a heavy lunch. Yes, it transfers just after the application, but not that much.
Overall: This is such a beautiful pink for daily casual wear. It looks perfect on summer days and is also a nice option for students. But I feel heartbroken that its bullet broke. Don’t know why I am looking white in these pictures, but actually I am tanned and this shade still looks so fresh on me.

Yes to both. I actually like to try new lip shades but I really love this range. You should try this range too. This shade looks so pretty, but it complements only fair to medium skin tones.
