Lotus Herbals Pure Radiance Natural Compact SPF 15

Compact powders are one of the most basic and essential makeup products. We can easily find one compact powder in every girl’s handbag. It is the easiest way to keep one’s face oil free and fresh looking, on the go. I always carry one compact powder with me in my hand bag.  So, this time, when I finished my Shahnaz Husain’s Colour Magic Compact, I decided to buy something else. I was at the Lotus counter in Health and Glow, and there I saw their compact range. As the name suggests, this compact has SPF 15, which protects skin against sun and it’s summer time now, so I bought the Lotus Herbals Pure Radiance Natural Compact with SPF 15 in Matte Pearl Shade.

Price:

Rs. 295 for 9 gm.

Product Description:

Lotus Herbals Pure Radiance Natural Compact SPF-15 is an exclusive long-wearing, full coverage pressed powder that works as an over-foundation finisher or as a powder foundation. It lends a matte, smooth, skin-perfection finish. SPF 15 protects from harmful rays.

Ingredients:

Contains green tea extracts and rice powder. (Detailed ingredient list is not available).

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Pure Radiance Natural Compact SPF 15:

I have yellowish, warm skin tone. So, most of the powders give me a dull or darker look, but in Lotus Herbals Pure Radiance Natural Compact SPF 15 range, I found a good shade match for my skin. It makes my skin look even toned, fairer and fresh. It keeps skin oil free for long because it has rice powder base, which acts as an oil absorbent. It also has SPF 15, so I use it during day time without the fear of getting tanned. It is said to give a matte look, but it gives good radiant and natural look. It is a lightweight powder, so my skin feels light. It is said to keep skin oil free, but it does not dry out the skin. Lotus Herbals is a good brand, so I trust their products.

I also like the packaging of this powder, it is sleek and travel friendly.  It has one more flip cover on top of the powder, so if the compact breaks, this cover will save it from creating a mess inside your bag. It has sponge applicator, but I prefer puff over that and the small vanity mirror inside makes touch-ups easy, with no worries of keeping a separate mirror.
