Lotus Herbals YouthRx Gineplex Anti Aging Firming Face Masque Review

This masque came home along with the toner from the same range and here is how it fared for my oily-combination skin.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals YouthRx Gineplex Anti Aging Firming Face Masque:

The packaging is in sync with the YouthRx range in golden and purple tones which look gorgeous. The size is not bulky and hence can be carried to trips. The flip top cap shuts with a click and so, the tube is very much travel friendly. The opening dispenses the right amount of the product, so overall a nice packaging.

The texture is unlike most masques we come across. It is more like a gel and not something thick that sits on the skin. It spreads easily on the skin and little goes a long way. Owing to the gel-like texture, it does not completely dry up on the face. Instead, it starts warming up with a lot tingling sensation. I am not much comfortable with the warming up. Still I kept it on till it started feeling a bit stretchy and then washed off.

Again it is not very easy to wash off due to the texture. On rubbing well the slimy feel recedes and reveals a fresh glowing skin. The face feels rejuvenated and moisturized which is again unlike most masques; they tend to dry up the skin, but not this.

The glow stays on for a day or two. I would say this is a good option for the winters but I do not see myself picking it up again as I am not fond of the warming up feel on the face. If you like self-warming masques, you must give this affordable baby a try.

Repurchase – I might not repurchase as I am not too comfortable with the tingle but it has not caused any adverse effects on the skin.
Recommend – yes, if you do not mind the tingling warming sensation.
