I am reviewing “Me n Mauve” today. My Experience with Lotus Makeup Ecostay Me n Mauve Long Lasting Lip Colour:
I wanted to try these shades since a long time, both are my favorite. It’s like “sone pe suhaga” kind of thing for me as these two shades are totally different from my collection of lip colors. In this post, I would be reviewing the shade “Me n Mauve.”
Packaging: I really like the packaging of this lipstick as it comes in a metallic chrome bodies of rose pink shade, looks attractive and classy. The bullet shape is round without any edgy ends and has the Lotus logo engraved on it.
Texture: This lipstick has a pretty weird texture, it looks pure matte on the lips but is a bit hydrating too, perfectly as I like, but the texture is not so smooth, neither in swatches nor on the lips. Also, it feels really light on the lips even with 2-3 swipes of the shade.
Shade and Pigmentation: The shade “Me n Mauve” is a purplish pink shade, which is the kind of lip color that I always wanted to have. It looks lovely on all skin tones and perfect for casual wear and office wear. This lipstick is not intensely pigmented, so to get the exact shade on your lips, you need to make 2-3 swipes. The shade name is mauve, but I don’t find any mauve hints. It is a bright and lovely pinkish shade with light purple hints.
Staying Power: It has a good staying power of 4- 5 hours but is a little transferrable. I am happy with its staying power as it does not fade from the lips easily. A makeup remover is required to get rid of the lip color completely as after some time, the lipstick settles into the fine lines of the lips. The bad part about this lipstick is that it makes your fine lines and dry lips prominent. As I always keep biting and licking my lips, I end up with dry lips most of the time. The best feature is that it stays true to its claims of being a long-lasting lip color, it leaves a lovely pink tint on your lips.

Yes, I completely love this shade and its semi-matte finish. I really love this lipstick due to its semi-matte finish and this lovely purplish-pink shade as it is a completely new shade in my stash. I exfoliate my lips well before applying this lipstick hence I recommend the same.
