Lush Comforter Bubble Bar Review

Lush Comforter Bubble Bar Review

By Shruti Sheladia

I used to hear so much hype about the comforter bar on YouTube, so one day I decided to buy it. This past week, I have been studying non stop.  Classes end in May, so I have been bombarded with numerous exams and projects. I finally got some today, so I decided to take a relaxing bath with my Lush Bubble Bar to relieve some stress. Just today I used it, and I now know what all the hype is about. We all have those days where for just 30 minutes we want to just relax and forget our worries. This Lush Bubble Bar helps you do just that!

Product Description:

When life is getting you down, crumble The Comforter under hot, running water for passionately purple water and creamy, comforting bubbles. This massive slice of vibrant fruitiness gives you the feeling of being enveloped in a warm hug and gently consoled by the friendly fruity aroma of a blackcurrant candy. It was created to bring a real sense of comfort to people, just like a real comforter would. Snuggle in, and stay undercover until you’re ready to face the world once again. Even better, each bar creates two baths of fruity comfort.

How To Use:

You don’t need the whole bar for one bath, so I usually cut mine in 4 pieces, so I can use 4 times. First, crumble the bar under running warm water as you fill the tub. The stronger your water pressure, the more bubbles you will make.

Price:

$10.95 for 1 bar (7oz), can get 4 good uses out of this.

My Take on Lush Comforter Bubble Bar:

I bought this bar around 2-3 months ago and since then it has been sitting on my cabinet. OH MY! This little bar made my whole bathroom smell like a Lush Store. The scent lasted in my bathroom since then! This bar smells like sweet berry candy. It’s not a sickening sweet scent; it’s a mix between berries and cotton candy. The smell also lingers on your skin afterwards too which is SO lovely!

As the name suggests, this bubble bar makes tons of bubble. In my opinion, crumble the bar in cold water, then when you are done crumbling turn on the hot water so you have warm tub water. It turns the bath water into this really pretty magenta pink color! This bar is solely for the purpose for relaxation. It doesn’t have any added benefits such as moisturizing the skin or helping sore muscles. This is a perfect little splurge to have if you are someone who needs a pick me up once in a while.

The biggest plus point for me is not only the smell but the price. Yes $10.95 for a one time use bar is expensive, but I cut this into 4 pieces and it is more than enough. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for all you busy students, mothers and workers.  Can’t wait to try the other scents!

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5 (I wish it had some added benefit such as it makes your skin soft and moisturized, helps with sore muscles, etc.)
