MAC Buff Blush Review, Swatch, FOTD

Hi Everyone, πŸ™‚

Every week I’d be digging out some old lovelies from kit kit to review. This week it’s MAC buff. I seriously had forgotten how much I used to love this blush for every day wear.

MAC buff Blush review

MAC describes Buff as soft muted pinkish peach. It is a matte finish blush.

Buff is an earthy/brownish toned rosy peach shade. It looks quite blah in the pan but it is such a gorgeous shade for everyday wear. The peach tones add warmth to the skin and the rose undertones prevents it from looking dull or muddy. It is super pigmented and builds up beautifully. The color is best for light to medium skin tones. For reference I am NC 35 in MAC.

The blush does not have any shimmer or shine and that makes it just perfect for day time wear. You can use it for the no makeup-makeup looks , it just a hint of color to the skin without really ‘showing’ it. It depends on how you apply it. If you are very pale, you can also use it as an overall color just to get that hint of warmth to your skin.

It stays on pretty well around 5-6 hours and does not get patchy.

Overall, it’s a gorgeous blush to look at if you are looking for an everyday / work blush. It would give that flush without overdoing it. It is a lot like MAC Blushbaby. Blushbaby is pinker though.
