Okay, so here is one more from the cremestick range of lip liners. The fun part is this is also a part of the pampering from IMBB, will not go into much detail except for the specific shade and texture, so read on to find how it fared for me.

My Experience with MAC Cremestick Liner – Cream O’Spice:

The cremestick liner comes in a twist-up style packaging with a black body and color-coded base which is good for storing upside down in the stash of liners. All details about the product are mentioned on the outer paper carton. The twist up style ensures minimum wastage as there is no sharpening involved. Also, it is good to carry in the pouch without bothering to carry the sharpener along.

Texture:  The texture of the liner is creamy but it does not break or melt on the lips while application.  At the same time, the liner is creamy enough not to tug the lips. The liner goes on smoothly on the lips depositing enough pigment to cover pigmented lips on one swipe. There is no shimmer whatsoever and hence is non gritty. This can be worn as a matte lip color but people with very dry lips might find it a bit uncomfortable. With a clear balm on top, you are good to go. I have found that all 3 from the range that I own have similar texture in spite of having different shades altogether.

Pigmentation:  The liner is highly pigmented and thus people who want to cover up dark patches on lips would find this handy for an array of shades. The pencil can be layered for intense color without feeling overtly dry or cakey.

Shade:  The shade is rusty brown with very subtle pink undertones which is visible only when applied on lips. A very pretty shade that can be used every day and also on special occasions. The color will suit fair, medium and dusky beauties. You will see the difference in the shade when swatched on hand and on lips.

Staying Power:  It stays on my lips without flaking or chapping as long as I do not remove it with a makeup remover. There is mild fading from the center of the lips with meals and tea/coffee but nothing patchy that it looks odd.

I was lucky enough to find one from the older stock which had the older price. I am happy with the product as it is going to see a lot of daylight in the coming winters due to the warmth of the shade.
