Here is the last one from the range of Mineralize Rich Lipsticks by MAC in the shade Grande Dame. This one is, again, one of my favorites from the whole range. Read on to know more about the product.

A 77-Mineral Moist Complex that instantly nourishes lips with maximum moisture in a lightweight, non-sticky formula. Larger bullet applies bright, long lasting color in a single stroke. Medium shine finish, buildable coverage. Magnetic closure.

My Experience with MAC Grande Dame Mineralize Rich Lipstick:

Packaging:
The Mineralize range is packaged differently than regular MAC lipsticks. It is like a healthier brother of a MAC lipstick with matte cap and glossy base. The magnetic closure is something that is smart and intelligent considering it is a bit bulky. The outer paper carton has all the required information regarding dates, price and ingredients. Looking forward to color coded packaging from MAC.

Texture:
The texture is super creamy, so much so that it tends to melt on touching the lips There is a glossy feel to the lips on application. The shine can be compared to the sheen supreme range from MAC but the feel on lips is lighter. I would rather call this a gel lipstick. It is moisturizing enough to skip lip balm even with dry lips.

Pigmentation:
Considering the lightness of the shade the pigmentation has to be built up with multiple swipes. People with pigmented lips might have to use a liner as the light shade shows the pigmented lips beneath; multiple swipes can take care of the problem though.

Shade:
This is a very pretty pink shade with brownish undertones. There are micro silver shimmers which are visible only on the bullet. On the lips they do not show up, instead give a polished glam look to the face.

Staying Power:
On its own it stays for about 4 hours. With tea/snacks it would come down to 3 hours. With lip liner the shade stays on for more than 5 hours which is great as the texture is light and creamy. If you are looking for a long lasting lipstick, then it is not for you. But the texture is so awesome that you will definitely not mind reapplying it!

Would I Recommend/Repurchase MAC Grande Dame Mineralize Rich Lipstick?
I might pick this up as it is a very wearable pink – brown and can be worn anywhere – college, office, mini party, kitty party and all other day functions. It would compliment any eye makeup, so again a win-win situation.
