Hope you all are doing great! I am in love with nude lipsticks lately and I have really enjoyed trying out a bunch of nude lip products with orange blush, intense coloured eyeliner and smokey eye. I was quite surprised not to see a load of reviews on nude lip products on IMBB and I really feel most of us are really scared to wear nude lipsticks because we think it might wash out our faces. To be honest, nude lipstick can really look flattering on any kind of skin tone. There are a bunch of celebrities from very pale skin tone to dark skin tone who rock nude lips. I promise you guys that I will do a very detailed post on nude lips, but for this review, I will be talking about MAC Amplified Lipstick in Half and Half.

My Take on MAC Half N Half Lipstick:
I must say my hunt for the perfect nude lip colour is finally over because after all the search, I found my new lipstick from MAC. I have tried everything from Maybelline’s My Mahogany, Warm Me Up, ELF’s natural matte lip colour to Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee, but nothing gave me the kind of nude lips that I wanted to see myself in.
I have a NC 45 skin tone and finding myself a perfect nude colour was quite a pain for me, but my wait was finally over when I discovered MAC’s Half and Half.
MAC’s Half N Half is an amplified nude lipstick with peachy undertones. It gives perfect nude lips for anyone of NC 45 skin tone from MAC without need of any lip gloss or lip liner. It works best on its own and looks sexy if paired up with a lip gloss.
It has no tendency to make you look washed out because it has peachy undertones to it which makes lips look fresh and alive and its perfect to go along with a smokey eye.
Texture: Highly pigmented, super creamy and smooth feel. Melts like butter and applies like a dream.
Staying Power: It stays for 4 hours plus. Doesn’t leave fine lines or cracks. It disappears as a peachy tint depending on your skin tone, it survives one meal.
Packaging: Comes in the typical black MAC packaging, which is light in weight, handy and travel friendly. Nothing attractive or special about this one.

Do I Recommend MAC Half N Half Lipstick?
MAC Amplified Lipstick in Half N Half is an absolutely stunning lipstick from MAC. It will be a perfect lipstick for tanned skin tones and will also look good on lighter skin tones giving fresh, cute and kissable lips. If you guys like that Kim Kardashian kind of nude yummy lips, this is a must try. You play around with a bunch of lip liners and lip glosses to make it work for you, but this is a potential tool to achieve Kim K’s nude lips.

wow its such a beautiful nude on you Harika
I am NC 36 and it still washes me out! Can you imagine my bad luck? 
Suma don’t worry I am and NC 40 generally depending on my tan and this color washes me out like craaazy. It works like great on my mom who is super fair, so it looks peach on her. So I think this has a tendency to work on reaally fair or dusky women. And I think it washes out women with strong yellow undertones :(

Harika – I love your hair style – So very stylish ! I love Half and half because of the texture – the color sadly does not work for me – but its a staple in my mom’s kit

Great review! This lipstick looks really great on you! Very nice! I’m also a NC45 and was searching for a nude lipstick. I’ve tried several mac lipsticks at the store and the mua suggested Half N Half. It’s the perfect nude for me.
