I am back with one more shade from the MAC Mineralize range in the shade “Lush Life.” One of the best shades from the range, might look scary in the tube, but applies gorgeously on the lips. Read on to know more on Lush Life 🙂

My Experience with MAC Lush Life Mineralize Rich Lipstick:

Packaging:
The “Mineralize” range is packed a bit differently than the regular line of MAC lipsticks. It is like a big brother of a MAC lipstick with a matte cap and a glossy base. The magnetic closure is something that is smart and intelligent considering it is a bit bulky. The outer paper carton has all the required information regarding dates, price and ingredients. I would love to see color coded packaging in MAC Mineralize Rich range.

Texture:  The texture is super creamy, so much so that it tends to melt. There is a glossy feel to the lips on application. The shine can be compared to the “Sheen Supreme” range, but the feel on the lips is lighter. It kind of melts on touching the lips. I would better call this a gel lipstick. It is moisturizing enough to skip lip balm even with dry lips.

Pigmentation:  The shade being so dark, a single swipe would deposit enough color on the lips. If you still wish to build on the color, you can apply multiple swipes. Thankfully, the multiple swiping does not accumulate on the corners.

Shade:  This is a gorgeous shade as you can see in the swatch. You can call this a glossier brother of MAC Diva. It is a beautiful plum maroon shade with a super glossy finish. After a few hours, the gloss settles and the color remains like a moist matte shade. Looks very sophisticated and glam at the same time. You can blot and wear as a stain if you want to prolong the wear time. I am completely in love with the color.

Staying Power:  Pretty impressive as it is creamy. On its own, it stays for about 4 hours. With tea/snacks, it would come down to 3 hours. With a lip liner, the shade stayed for more than 6-7 hours which is great as the texture is light and creamy.

Would I Recommend MAC Lush Life Mineralize Rich Lipstick?
I might not be able to finish this up, but if I do, I will definitely pick this up as it is a beautiful shade of pinkish maroon. I would definitely recommend this shade to all of you.
