MAC Powerpoint Pencil Buried Treasure
Price Rs 920
MAC describes buried treasure as underground black-brown with gold.
If you are looking for a soft black pencil with a hint of shimmer especially for summers, Buried Treasure is the way to go. Buried Treasure is blackish brown pencil with olive undertones and soft golden shimmer. I would have preferred it to be more shimmery but guess that is a personal choice. It pretty much works as a great liner pencil for both day and evening time.
It is an excellent pencil. It is creamy so it never tugs your lids. It glides on like a dream. You can softly smudge it to create soft smokey eyes. It does not smudge or smear. It takes like 5 seconds to set and it stays on and on the entire day. It is a soft color and for the color it is, it is quite pigmented. It is a sharpen-able pencil and I love that about it. Although the shimmers are fine, I wouldn’t suggest you to apply it on the waterline. It is a waterproof pencil. I have to use an eye makeup to remove it completely or else it stays. I have oily lids and still it does not move. Also, the shimmers don;t get collected at the corner of the eyes and stay put.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this pencil. The actual pencil is actually quite longer than what you see in the pic. I happen to use it quite a lot so it is smaller now. 😐
I personally would suggest that you use it as a thick liner on your eyes or else it would look like any other black. Call it a drawback but that’s how it is.

Boy! Delhi weather has gone bonkers today. When I went for the shoot, it was quite sunny. Within 15-20 minutes the sun was gone. Then there was a major sand storm and some rain. It looks fine now outside. Atleast there is some relief from the heat. My prayers for whose who are stuck in traffic today. 😛

tinkerbell, just take a qtip , swipe the paint pot on it and then apply . when you apply too less of the product, it tend sto tug. Try that. hope that works for you. 🙂

thanks nands. Yeah you can use mybelline gel liner on waterline. It does not sting. If that does not work for you, pick up maybelline colossal kajal. That also does not move at all. 🙂

I <3 Buried treasure – its my mostest favouritest mac pencil ever – Ive finished more than two of them and im simply unhappy if i dont have one in my stash.
Just a quick fyi – the maybelline swirl liners are quite reasonable dupes for this – not exact but close.
Loving the summer look – its great u had some rain – here the heat is craazy and so is the humidity and no relief in sight !
