MAC Smokeluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadow Review

By Afifanoor

MAC Smokeluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadow palette is portrayed as shades of frosty pink, deep bronze, carbon black, deep grey and platinum. #2 is the sparkliest shade, so it is the only one that seems like it might be prone to fall out. The five shades blend beautifully for day to night looks. It has a mix of matte to highly shimmery finish.

My Take on MAC Smokeluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadow:

I had worn this palette together for just four hours, and it gave a very little sparkle underneath my eye. This eye shadow palette can last is up to nine hours maximum and then it starts creasing and smudging. The texture of this palette is slightly less silky compared to the other palettes.

These five shades can create many different looks. You can just go with either one shade of olive or platinum or you can just mix up and create an amazing smokey eye. I love playing around with them. When I am confused with the shades, then either I choose a single one or I go for the entire palette. I am an amateur when it comes to makeup but still I have received a lot of compliments every time I used it. The blending is extremely easy and best results are seen, when applied with a brush.

Shade #1:
It is a subtly warmed up, pale beige with a pearly sheen. It is a bit dry, so the payoff was about the same for both wet and dry being semi-sheer to semi-opaque at best.

Shade #2:
It is a dirty olive brown with hints of green and then flashes of taupe. I love this colour, it was the one that I glided three times while getting everything together, because it never looks the same. It also swatches darker than it looks.

Shade #4:
It is a medium-dark gray with a light silver shimmer. It was semi-sheer when applied dry and mostly opaque when applied wet. It was a little drier than other shades.

It is a deep, dark black color with a satin finish. It gives a soft black color when applied dry, but it is quite dark and rich when applied with a damp brush.
