MAC Wonder Woman Lipstick – Marquise’d Review, Swatches, FOTD
Price : Rs 990
MAC Marquise’d lipstick is a creamy nude pink lipstick with a golden / champagne frost to it. It is a lustre finish lipstick.
What I like about the Marquise’d Lipstick :
- Nice shade for hot summers days.
- It does not have a great staying power (around 2 1/2 -3 hours) but it survives through my snacks, breakfast etc.
- Love the lovely vanilla fragrance
- The packaging is fun.
- The finish is really nice. It gives a nice moist / hydrated look to the lips without looking too glossy or shiny.
- Does not dry out my lips or settle in the fine lines.
What I don’t like about MAC Marquise’d Lipstick :
- Sometimes the fine gold shimmer settles in the fine lines of my lips. this generally happens on “bad-lips-day” so I make sure that I use this lipstick only on days when my lips are nicely exfoliated.
- The packaging might not be appealing to everyone.

Overall, a nice shade for fair to medium complexions. Those with darker skintones should steer clear on this one. On me, it looks completely nude – it’s like MAC Yash lipstick with a little frost. i mostly wear it with dark eyes or else this looks completely washed out on me.

For those, who don’t have a nude lipstick in their collection can give this one a shot.This can easily be worn both during the day and evening.

no it doesnt. bamboo pink is pink with a silver forst.

I think it’s the same as applying yash & light pink gloss, nahi?. I have a yash type of shade from Avon calles soft cappucino & when i apply a pink shimmery gloss on it, it looks a lot like this shade. You always look pretty Rati

To be honest…I liked this ok-ok……but at the same time, if eyes are done bold, this would definately rock!
I usually cover my neutral/nude lipsticks with darker lip-glaze…..so that I dont look unusual.
I find some lipsticks from MAC….little too dry. After sometime, my lips begin to show first signs of flaking…..does it happen to you?
Nia, yeah this lipstick can be easily skipped. really! I like lipsticks that are easy to wear anytime of the day and with almost all kinds of makeup. I necessarily have to do bold eyes with this one. But that I have to do with Yash as well, which i somehow adore.
May be this one is frosty so I am not a huge fan!
Nia so far havent come across any such MAC lipstick. I barely have a handful and my experience has been fab!

Yeah… I have two…its Stay-In-Touch and Mystic….both colors are so good!!! I love them….and wear them quite often…..but have to put some creamy base like moisturizer first….If I do it on bare lips…then it tends to dry…..
Nia, never faced this problem but may be i barely use lipsticks without a lip blam underneath. it has become a habit now..

hey rati, i did not like the shade much as i like brighter shades more, though am quite fair still stay away from nudes n pastel shades which otherwise suit ppl with my kind of complexion…… but ya i liked those puppets a lot as I am a big fan of handicrafts
