So I have another beautiful everyday shade from Makeup Forever’s new Artist eyeshadow line – M548 (the M is for matte) or Pink Gray.

Size and Pricing:

A single pan costs $21.00 for 0.07 oz or around 2 grams. This is slightly on the high end of the price I’ll pay for a single eyeshadow but the quantity is so much more than what you get from most other eyeshadow pans. This is a seriously BIG eyeshadow pan!

My Makeup Forever Artist Eyeshadow M548:

More everyday neutral colours!!! Seriously ladies, how many taupe eyeshadows can a makeup lover want? ALL of them is the correct answer, in case you’re wondering! :p  Another gorgeous everyday colour is this eyeshadow – a perfect medium taupe. It is also completely matte. I think it also has some pink and brown in it and that is what makes it such a unique taupe. Don’t get me wrong, I love all my taupes alike, but this one is definitely something different.

This eyeshadow also wears very very well. The colour payoff is amazing. The texture is smooth, like gel and soft, like a very finely milled powder. I usually use this is as an over the lid eye colour. If I’m ever running late or I’m in a hurry, but I still need to look polished and presentable, I put M536 Milk Tea  all over my eye and use this eyeshadow on two thirds of my outer eye. Simple, sleek, and ready to go! I feel like you cannot go wrong with such a basic shade. Perfect for everyday chores, office wear, or a simple romantic date, this colour has you covered!

Things I love about Makeup Forever Artist Eyeshadow M548:

• Gorgeous everyday colour.
• Every makeup lover has a taupe, but this is a unique taupe. The pink and brown make it more wearable for warmer skin tones without washing them out.
• It makes an amazing all over the lid kind of colour for those “no fuss” days.
• For the price, you get an amazing amount of very high quality eyeshadow.
• The eyeshadow is very pigmented.
• The colour payoff is amazing for a pure matte shade.
• I LOOOOOVE single pots so much (I have to depot everything and ruin half the things in the process).
• This one also lasts forever on me with a primer (Urban Decay or Nars). I have worn it for up to 9 hours and this baby stayed put!

Things I’m not so much in-love with about Makeup Forever Artist Eyeshadow M548 :

• The only real con is availability! In the US, there are probably a few Makeup Forever Boutiques around but for most of us, you have to buy them from a Sephora!

I would rate this eyeshadow a 4.9/5! It has everything I would want in a taupe eyeshadow.
