Continuing with my reviews on Makeup Geek eyeshadows, this review will be on the shade “Pixie Dust.”

Product Description:
It took us a long time to catch enough fairies to create this eyeshadow! We had to prance through the magical forest, use our state of the art fairy finder, and bring back the pixie dust to the Makeup Geek factory to add the perfect amount of shimmer to this bright green shadow. (NOTE: No fairies were harmed in the making of this eyeshadow!)

About Makeup Geek Eyeshadows- These are all highly-pigmented – just check out the swatches! – Half the price of high-end shadows without sacrificing quality. These pans can be placed in empty palettes such as Z-Palettes. Eyeshadow pan weight is 1.8G / 0.064 oz – With a separate palette, you can build your own custom palettes. All our shadows are cruelty-free, we do not test our products on animals. These eyeshadows are talc and paraben free.

My Experience with Makeup Geek Pixie Dust Eyeshadow:

Packaging: These eyeshadows come in pan which you have to pop in a magnetic palette. I do like the flexibility this provides for customizing a palette based on your needs but this also means you have to shell out extra to buy the Z palette on top of buying the eyeshadow.

Pigmentation/Shade/Finish: Pixie Dust is described as a metallic lime green, which is quite accurate. It is a bright yellowish lime green, but it does not pull neon. It has a smooth, metallic finish which looks beautiful as a lid color. I find this shade to be quite wearable. The pigmentation is very good just as I have come to expect out of Makeup Geek shadows. It yielded 85-90% opacity with a single layer and blended out without sheering much.

Texture and Blendability: This shade has a smooth, soft and “easy-to-work: with texture. It packs nicely on the lid with a flat eyeshadow brush without causing fallout and did not feel gritty to touch. The shimmers are extremely finely milled.

Staying Power: This shade has good staying power and wears 7-8 hours on me without creasing.

Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying using these Makeup Geek eyeshadows and this shade was another hit. I love some pops of color now and then and this shade is a great addition to my collection. I will recommend this eyeshadow to everyone.
