Makeup Revolution Celestial Baked Mono Eyeshadow Review

Hi sweethearts!

Exam season is on and that’s why I have sluggish pace of reviews. I wasn’t into eye makeup until IMBB fever caught me. I am trying new shadows and today’s review is by an eyeshadow from Makeup Revolution. The product is Celestial Baked Mono Eyeshadow.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution Celestial Baked Mono Eyeshadow:

I was fascinated by the color I saw online. ‘Celestial’ is a shimmery sap green eye shadow with grey undertones. It was a welcome change from the pinks-browns-blues dominating the shadow market, and I welcomed it in my kitty. The shadow color is perfect for weddings and parties or some edgy eye makeup and would suit fair to dusky skin tones easily. In fact, at the very onset I would like to tell it is extremely shimmery and not actually suited for day wear.

It is not creamy but the texture is soft. Application and blending is a smooth process. The pigmentation is good and can be built up. In fact, two swipes give a generous dose of color and drama to your eyes. I was concerned with shimmer fall out but there are no such issues. Minimal fall out occurred and that was a plus. The sap green with gold and grey tones would look beautiful paired with black liner or complement a different type of smokey eye look.

The eye shadow looks even better if used wet. In fact, the longevity increases when used wet. Without a primer the dry shadow stays for 3 hours with even fading. The wet shadow stays put for 5+ hours. Even after fading, a luminous light green tint stays, because of the shimmer.
Removal is a bit cumbersome, as you need a good makeup remover to completely remove the shimmer particles. Overall, if you like the shade do give it a shot. It will not disappoint you.
