You must have guessed already through my reviews that I have become a total eye makeup junkie now. I love to play with eyeshadows and here I am, with some more beautiful shades from Makeup Revolution London. Today’s review is on the shade “Astral.” Read on for more details 🙂

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Astral Baked Mono Eyeshadow:

This eyeshadow comes in a regular Makeup Revolution packaging. The packaging is in the form of a simple glossy black rectangular pan. This pan closes with a clear lid that has the brand name embossed in gold. The cap closes securely and makes this cute and tiny eyeshadow pan travel friendly. The packaging is good, but the only con is that there is no applicator provided.

“Astral” is a beautiful purple eyeshadow. It has some interesting patterns on it. The eyeshadow has pink and purple patterns with some silver glitters. These patterns look cute and attractive. This baked eyeshadow can be used in both wet and dry forms. I use it in the dry form only, but if you want to have that intense colour, use it wet.

Eyeshadow swatch

The texture of the eyeshadow is soft and smooth. I did not see much fall out with this shade. It glides on the eyelids smoothly. The glitters present in this eyeshadow do not look chunky at all. The shade “Astral” is perfect for evening parties. I am so much in love with this eyeshadow because I love using shades of lilacs and purples on my eyes. Now coming to the pigmentation of this eye shadow. The pigmentation is awesome. One swipe gives good amount of colour, but you will need to apply multiple swipes to build up the colour properly.

Eye makeup

The lasting power of this eyeshadow is 4-5 hours without any eye primer underneath, which is good, but once the colour goes, the shimmers are left behind. Overall, I am happy with this eyeshadow.
