Makeup Revolution London Pure Pigments Antic Review

Hi everyone,

Recently, I have become sort of addicted to eye makeup. After getting a whole lot of Makeup Revolution London Mono eyeshadows, I decided to try their pure pigments. I chose one in the shade “Antic.”

Price:
INR 500 for 1.5 gm.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Pure Pigments Antic:

I will begin with the packaging of the pigment, which is simple and apt for the price charged. It is simple and cute. It comes in a transparent tiny bottle with a black cap.  Inside, the bottle has a plastic lid, which has 4 tiny holes for the product to come out. It is a bit tricky taking out the product with the lid on as tilting the bottle tends to make the lid come off. The cap does not close securely and this makes it not very travel friendly. The quantity of the product is amazing for its price. At the back of the bottle, the ingredient list is printed.

“Antic” is a true black pigment with lots and lots of shimmer. A normal pinch of “Antic” consists of more silver glitter than the black shadow.  So, it is advised to wear this over another shadow as otherwise the look will turn out too glittery. The pigmentation of this eyeshadow as told is average.

Black eyeshadow pigment

The staying power of this eyeshadow is pretty decent. As I am not yet into eye primers, this one stayed on my non-oily lids for a good 4.5-5 hours without primer.

Black eyeshadow

It applies very smoothly and has a satiny texture. Despite its shimmery finish, it does not feel gritty at all on the lids. It blends easily and does not settle into fine lines nor does it crease. A drawback of this eyeshadow that I found was that it has fallout issues and also contains parabens.
