Today I’ll be reviewing a lipstick from Makeup Revolution. This was an accidental buy, as I intended to buy the shade ‘Vice’ but ended up with this instead. Since I bought this online, it falls under the ‘non-returnable’ category, sadly. So let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution Scandalous Amazing Lipstick – Depraved:
Packaging:
The thing I love the most about this is the color coded top of the cap. It not only looks cute but also saves time. Although I felt the cap is a bit loose, it can be carried around easily. The lipstick bullet swivels up and down easily without any problem.
Shade:
Depraved is a very tricky shade. It is a purple with blue tones and has neon hints which makes it tricky to wear. It reminded me of Priya Malik from Bigg Boss when I wore it. 😀 It looks gaudy and I’m not a big fan of the shade.
Texture and pigmentation:
The pigmentation is pretty much average. About 2-3 swipes will give the actual color. The texture is smooth and feels very light. It glides without tugs, but it does have this tendency to settle into the lip lines. Nonetheless it feels extremely light and invisible. I like the texture of these lipsticks.
Lasting power:
I haven’t actually worn it anywhere, but I locked myself in my room to try it out (while watching a movie and munching chips :P). I wiped it off after about two hours and it did not leave a stain behind. Also, I found this variant a bit drying and I am already having troubles with my lips for a while now.
Pros of Makeup Revolution Scandalous Amazing Lipstick – Depraved:
• Lovely packaging.
• Color coded cap.
• Really smooth texture.
• Feels light on lips.
• Does not tug or pull.
Cons of Makeup Revolution Scandalous Amazing Lipstick – Depraved:
• The shade is a big con for me. It neither suits me nor am I a fan of it.
• I found it drying.
• Pigmentation is just average.

I find most of Makeup Revolution’s lipsticks to have kind of a whitish, pastel-y tone which makes them look like paint :/
