Beautiful fragrance with a beautiful bottle – and that defines Marc Jacobs’ fragrances. Yes, today, I will be reviewing a Marc Jacobs perfume! I have been a Marc Jacobs Beauty fan for years now and this was the first perfume that I bought from the brand , mainly because of the bottle. Yes, it’s that cute.

My Experience with Marc Jacobs Honey Eau de Parfum Spray:

No doubt, Marc Jacobs perfumes have the cutest packaging. Marc Jacobs Honey comes housed in a round bottle with a beautiful butterfly on it. The cap also is a decorative piece, it also had a butterfly on it. Unfortunately, the cap got broken, so I had to throw it away.

I sometimes buy perfumes blindly and this was one of the blind purchases. Marc Jacobs Honey is a citrusy sweet fragrance, which is pleasant and leans to be very light floral. On the initial spray, top notes are very prominent, it feels like a citrus blast. You can smell tangerine, orange and pear. Then, as honey dries down, you can smell the sweetness of honey, slight vanilla and very mild floral scent.

I generally don’t tend to like these types of fragrances, but I do like this particular scent. This is perfect for summers and spring season, but there is no point of wearing this in winters. It is more of a daytime appropriate fragrance.

When it comes to the lasting power, it’s disappointing ! Marc Jacobs Honey has a staying power of just 2 to 3 hours on me. Not just with Honey, but even Marc Jacobs Daisy doesn’t last for long on me, and that’s why I stay away from Marc Jacobs perfumes in general.
