My Experience with Marks and Spencer Autograph Pure Colour Mono Eyeshadow Olive:
Shade: The shade “Olive” is a lovely dirty olive green with a nice golden sheen. It’s almost duo-chromatic. I was in 2 minds to pick this colour because of my lack of experience with eye shadows. However, this is an absolutely gorgeous shade which works really well for our Indian skin tones. The golden sheen will really bring out the eyes. Honestly, it’s not too becoming when swatched on the hand. But transforms to this beautiful colour once applied on the lid.
Texture: The texture is quite smooth and blends easily. You do need to deal with a bit of a fallout. The shade transfers easily onto the lid and can work as an all-over colour or on in the middle of the lid, with a darker colour in the outer V.
Staying power: Without a primer, on my oily lids, this turned a bit into mush in 4-4.5 hours. With a good primer, the shade gets a new lease of life nd lasts for good 6-6.5 hours. I have been using the MAC 24Hour base exclusively.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is good. I did not really need to dig in again and again to build up the color. It translated easily from the pan to the lid. Also, if required, it blends quite easily and you can sheer it out if you so require.
The applicator is okay variety. It will help you tap on the eyeshadow onto the lid but will not really help with any blending skills.

Overall Thoughts:
I generally avoid singles – unless it’s something that can work as an “all over the lid” kind of colour. Because it’s really difficult for me to keep a track of the singles, especially to figure out a look with them. So, this shade is quite nice. It’s easy to work with on its own or with a darker shade in the crease/outer V. But, you NEED a primer with these – for sure!
