Marks and Spencer Butterfly Eau De Toilette Review

So, the festive season is in full swing. Well, it started with the most celebrated festival of India – Diwali cheering us and it is going strong with Christmas and New Year which is just a month away. Yay!! Well, apart from new clothes, fine jewellery and wonderful delicacies, I certainly enjoy the gifting episodes amongst friends, family and colleagues. Here in London, as the festive fervour is soaring high, I am definitely gearing for shopping for me and my folks. Among a few gifts I have purchased, I am so impressed by this that I have bought one for me and yes here is the review.

Marks and Spencer Butterfly Eau De Toilette Review 2

When it comes to Marks and Spencer, I get totally awed by the refined clothing collection and food mail. But last week, while I was browsing new scarves and fashion jewellery for my dear friend, I popped in the beauty collection. I was rather surprised to see a huge variety of beauty products ranging from nail paints, lotions and perfumes. I checked couple of perfumes, and I really liked ‘Butterfly Eau de Toilette’. It has such a fresh fragrance with little yet deep hints of fruity flavours, that you really can’t stop appreciating it. It comes in 30 ml, 80 ml and also offers Body Spray and Body Mist for 100 ml.

Product Description:

Butterfly has fresh notes of fruity apple, watery cucumber and zesty grapefruit drifting to delicate and soft hints of magnolia flower, rose and violet scents.

Isn’t that wonderful! You can truly imagine how fruity and fresh this perfume is. Hang on! It’s not over yet. The flowery scents are then followed by rich aromas of musk and amber to a render sophisticated touch to it. I find it completely suitable for any casual hangouts and even for daily office wear.

The packaging of this product is quite chic and fashionable. It comes in a light green transparent round class bottle with pink plastic butterflies on the parallel sides of the cap giving a very feminine touch to it. The base is quite strong and the nozzle is perfectly designed to discourage leaking at any time.

Price – £14.00 for 100 ml , £6.50 for 25 ml and £3.00 for 100 ml Body Spray and Body Mist.

My Experience with Marks and Spencer Butterfly Eau De Toilette:

Firstly, I have noticed that it is little difficult to describe a perfume’s characteristics in words, as the experience is completely related to its aromas. Nevertheless, I am so overwhelmed by its result I don’t see a big task in front of me!!

Marks and Spencer Butterfly Eau De Toilette

I am quite impressed by the quality of this product available at a very reasonable price. When you apply for the first time it may seem that is hitting strong fruity notes, but it gradually settles down to a sweet fresh fragrance. It smells like it has come fresh down from the garden fields. The smell will easily last for 6-7 hours however after a few hours you will easily notice those hints of rose and violet scents oozing out a naughty floral experience.

With no serious twist, this perfume is apt to wear on any summery affair, casual meets or during any day parties. It can definitely accompany you on regular office days conversely I find this too fruity, off-the-cuff during evening and client meets. For those lovelies who really like to indulge their moods in fruity, floral and fresh notes will definitely go for it nonetheless this may not be apt for those sensitive noses that prefer little light, classy and mild touches. This is also a good gifting option to your female folks (only if) you know they prefer floral fragrances.
