Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Body Cream Review

Hello Gorgeous Ladies!

How are you all doing? Getting ready for winters or is it still hot in India?  Today, I am going to review a body cream which has been very useful to me during the summer months. After a nice outing to a beach as mentioned in my previous post, I got very bad sunburn which left my skin looking red, itchy and burnt.  As I am from Hyderabad, I am not new to hot summers or sunburn, but never expected it would happen to me in the UK. It was totally unexpected as I felt quite relaxed on that day with the cool breeze around me and didn’t realize that 30 degrees can have this effect on me. All my plans for getting a lovely tan went in vain. I somehow never get a tan; it’s always a burn instead. I used to apply fresh sandalwood paste to soothe the skin and get rid of sunburn during my engineering days. Sadly, I couldn’t carry my big block of sandalwood when we shifted here.  This miraculous body cream though came to my rescue and helped reduce the irritation and redness very quickly.

My Take on Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Body Cream:

I buy a lot of stuff from M and S as I have never been disappointed with the quality of their products. I purchased this product when I was looking for a nice and light body lotion or cream that wouldn’t make my skin feel sticky during summer. It is from the “Nature’s Extracts” range which I tried before and liked. It comes in a nice and sturdy tub similar to TBS body butters. The pale green colour of the body cream gives it a fresh look.

Body Cream 1

The texture is nice and soft and not as thick as body butters. It has a mild fragrance which doesn’t last too long. It is an ideal body cream for using in the summer months. It might not be suitable to use during winter for people with dry skin.

Body Cream 2

Pros of Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Body Cream:

  • It gets absorbed very quickly and leaves the skin well moisturised and soft.
  • The non-greasy texture makes it ideal for using in the day and is specially recommended for people with oily skin.
  • It has amazing healing properties which made my sunburn disappear in two days.
  • It has worked really well as a post-wax cream for me due to its cooling effect on my skin.

Cons of Marks and Spencer Fresh Aloe Vera Moisturizing Body Cream:

  • The product cannot be used on the face.
  • Other than that, I can’t really find any cons with this body cream.

IMBB Rating:

4/5.
